Netragard Sponsors Team Ovarian Cancer in the Pan-Mass Challenge to Support Groundbreaking Cancer Research

Netragard supports Team Ovarian Cancer in the Pan-Mass Challenge!

Boston, MA – 7/17/2024

Netragard, a leader in cybersecurity services specializing in ethical hacking and advanced penetration testing, is proud to announce its sponsorship of Team Ovarian Cancer in the upcoming Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), the nation’s most successful athletic fundraising event dedicated to conquering cancer. This Massachusetts-based charitable bike-a-thon, scheduled for the first weekend of August, draws ten thousand participants from around the world, united in the mission to defeat cancer within our lifetime.

Since its inception in 1980, the PMC has been a beacon of hope, raising $972 million for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a global pioneer in cancer research and treatment. In 2024, the PMC is set to surpass a monumental milestone, contributing over one billion dollars to Dana-Farber, with 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly funding the institute’s life-saving work.

Team Ovarian Cancer, established in 2022 by Nancy Cantor, is a testament to the power of community and determination. The team’s efforts bolster the innovative research of Dr. Ursula Matulonis, Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at Dana-Farber. Dr. Matulonis’ groundbreaking study on the cancer-fighting potential of Natural Killer Cells is poised to enter clinical trials in 2024, offering new hope in the battle against ovarian cancer.

The team’s journey began with two courageous Dream Factory Community members, Mara Castello and Janet Snider, who, despite facing ovarian cancer themselves, joined forces with Nancy Cantor. Their resilience has inspired over twenty individuals to join the cause, collectively raising nearly $250,000 in just two years.

Netragard’s sponsorship reflects its commitment to community welfare and scientific advancement. “We are honored to support Team Ovarian Cancer and the Pan-Mass Challenge,” said Netragard Founder and Chief Executive Officer Adriel Desautels.
