About the Role

Netragard is currently seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join our team of passionate cybersecurity professionals.

This role involves performing manual penetration testing of our customers’ information technology systems including their external/internal infrastructure, web, and mobile applications, etc.

We are looking for an equally passionate individual who thinks differently about problems and looks for new angles in challenging situations.

Location:

Boston/Remote

Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual penetration testing for a variety of systems, such as, web, mobile, API, and infrastructure (internal, external, and wireless)
  • Plan and execute social engineering campaigns and physical penetration tests
  • Identify, understand, and exploit vulnerabilities to gain and expand access to remote systems
  • Document and communicate technical findings verbally and in a written format to the appropriate stakeholders/teams.
  • Assist in retesting security vulnerabilities that have been remediated and updating the report with remediation test findings.
  • Provide remediation recommendations
  • Assist with building, hardening, and maintaining systems used for testing
  • Stay up to date on cutting edge security topics and new attack vectors
  • Assist with pre-sales scoping to prospective clients
  • Review reports for depth and accuracy
  • Communicate with customers throughout testing engagement
  • Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff
  • Conduct research and publish articles on the latest cybersecurity news

You must have the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience performing penetration tests
  • 3+ years of experience consulting
  • 1+ Industry leading qualification (OSCP/OSWE/OSCE, CRTO, CISSP, CREST, PNPT, etc.)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (in English)
  • Report writing experience

About the Role:

Netragard is seeking a passionate Marketing & Communications Specialist to take the lead in planning and executing marketing campaigns while also managing social media and driving other aspects of marketing for the team.

We are looking for a creative thinker with strong communications skills to join a small, diverse team to grow with us and help plan and improve our communications and increase our brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop the marketing and communication strategy across various channels for our rapidly growing cyber-security business
  • Plan and execute detailed digital marketing campaigns
  • Evaluate and report marketing campaign KPIs and recommending real-time adjustments to content/media as needed
  • Refine Netragard’s internal branding and style guides to maintain value-congruency and align with current trends
  • Review and edit articles, web content, webinar decks, newsletters, guides, etc. to align content with branding guidelines, organizational messaging, and high-impact distribution strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and field experts to create content and publish on all of Netragard’s social media platforms and websites
  • Manage the strategic and creative design of Netragard’s marketing and communication activities and materials to ensure consistency of voice, style, and quality
  • Travel and attend events, when needed, to assist Netragard in promoting our services
  • Demonstrate thought leadership on emerging trends to strengthen communications
  • Work with management regularly to develop and execute marketing plans

You must have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience managing social media
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications, website management, and social media content creation and management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

About the Role:

We are seeking motivated and technically knowledgeable individuals to work with, and assist our Senior Executive team at Netragard through short term, rapid restructuring, and Business Process Improvement projects such as:

  • Design, deploy, and configure a Capture the Flag (CTF) network/application challenge to facilitate our recruitment process for technical candidates (Penetration Testers) (1-2 months)
  • Work closely with the testing team to design and automate the creation of offensive testing infrastructure (phishing, C2, redirectors, payload severs) to assist in performing engagements. (1-2 months)
  • Develop custom offensive tooling to be utilized during Netragard’s offensive security engagements (initial access payloads, beacon object files, network-based attack tools, etc.) (2-3 months)
  • Design, deploy, and configure an environment (systems, db & custom scripts/applications) to perform scans of the full IPv4 public address space to collect actionable information for our sales & technical teams. (Additional details to be discussed with the right candidates) (3-4 months)
  • Design and develop a web-based tool to discover, map, and create a visual representation of the complexity of a customer environment (network or web application) also known as “Attack Surface Mapping” (3-4 months)

Karen Huggins

Karen joined the Netragard team in 2017 and oversees Netragard’s financial, human resources as well as administration functions. She also provides project management support to the operations and overall strategy of Netragard.
 
Prior to joining Netragard, she worked at RBC Investor Services Bank in Luxembourg in the role of Financial Advisor to the Global CIO of Investor Services, as well as several years managing the Financial Risk team to develop and implement new processes in line with regulatory requirements around their supplier services/cost and to minimize the residual risk to the organization.
 
With over 20 years of experience in finance with global organizations, she brings new perspective that will help the organization become more efficient as a team. She received her Bachelor of Finance from The Florida State University in the US and her Master of Business Administration at ESSEC Business School in Paris, France.

Philippe Caturegli

Chief Hacking Officer

Philippe has over 20 years of experience in information security. Prior to joining Netragard, Philippe was a Senior Manager within the Information & Technology Risk practice at Deloitte Luxembourg where he led a team in charge of Security & Privacy engagements.

Philippe has over 10 years of experience in the banking and financial sector that includes security assessment of large and complex infrastructures and penetration testing of data & voice networks, operating systems, middleware and web applications in Europe, US and Middle East.

Previously, Philippe held roles within the information system security department of a global pharmaceutical company in London. While working with a heterogeneous network of over 100,000 users across the world and strict regulatory requirements, Philippe gained hands-on experience with various security technologies (VPN, Network and Application Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Host Intrusion Prevention, etc.)

Philippe actively participates in the Information Security community. He has discovered and published several security vulnerabilities in leading products such as Cisco, Symantec and Hewlett-Packard.

He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), PCI Qualified Security Assessors (PCI-QSA), OSSTMM Professional Security Analyst (OPSA), OSSTMM Professional Security Tester (OPST), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)and Associate Member of the Business Continuity Institute (AMBCI).

Adriel Desautels

Chief Technology Officer

Adriel T. Desautels, has over 20 years of professional experience in information security. In 1998, Adriel founded Secure Network Operations, Inc. which was home to the SNOsoft Research Team. SNOsoft gained worldwide recognition for its vulnerability research work which played a pivotal role in helping to establish today’s best practices for responsible disclosure. While running SNOsoft, Adriel created the zeroday Exploit Acquisition Program (“EAP”), which was transferred to, and continued to operate under Netragard.
 
In 2006, Adriel founded Netragard on the premise of delivering high-quality Realistic Threat Penetration Testing services, known today as Red Teaming. Adriel continues to act as a primary architect behind Netragard’s services, created and manages Netragard’s 0-day Exploit Acquisition Program and continues to be an advocate for ethical 0-day research, use and sales.
 
Adriel is frequently interviewed as a subject matter expert by media outlets that include, Forbes, The Economist, Bloomberg, Ars Technica, Gizmodo, and The Register. Adriel is often an invited keynote or panelist at events such as Blackhat USA, InfoSec World, VICELAND Cyberwar, BSides, and NAW Billion Dollar CIO Roundtable.
